This is a typical peanut butter cookie recipe which consist of varying amounts of peanut butter and butter. Since I am in the process of moving I have a bunch of ingredients around that I am trying to use up. There may be another peanut butter cookie post due to this dilemma.
These cookies were great, the original recipe called for 1 cup of sugar but I reduced it and the cookies tasted fine. I enjoy being able to taste all the ingredients in my cooking/ baking and reducing the amount of salt and sugar in recipes allows for subtle flavours to be more noticeable.
You can use anything really to coat the peanut butter cookie dough balls. Graham Cracker crumbs were just hand for me. It added some extra sweetness to the dough which compensated for the sugar I originally cut in the recipe.
