Today I bring you apple peanut butter cookies. Did you ever eat peanut butter and apples as a kid? Well I did… and I still do.
Why not combine a childhood and adulthood favourite by turning them into a cookie! I went apple picking on the weekend and was really excited to whip up a batch of something with apples in it.
Meet Pumpernickel, the family guinea pig. He was very curious about what was to be whipped up in the kitchen.
This is what the batter looks like, it is really chunky, but I love making drop cookies chunky. It means in every mouthful you will get something extra!
So recently my body is adjusting to the… nice… but cold weather. I woke up this morning in a bit of a daze thinking I was in Malaysia by the beach. I was a little upset that I had to put pants on instead of my bikini.
I stayed on Pulau Tioman for 4 nights, it was a really lovely island on the East coast of Malaysia. After about 30minutes of walking through the jungle you could be on a beach alone.
Now that I have giving you a setting, make these cookies and visualize yourself on a beautiful beach!
I am happy to be back for the end of fall, I have still gotten to enjoy the end of apple season and pumpkin season. I have some nifty pumpkin recipes coming your way shortly! So stay tuned!
