Cupcakes Always Win

Classic Irish Soda Bread

I apologize a million times for getting this recipe to you all a few days shy of St. Patrick’s Day.

I found this recipe on Brown Eyed Baker and really wanted to test it out! The post she writes explains a little about the history behind the bread because there is no yeast used and there is also no rising required. It is actually the simplest bread I have ever made and it tastes great!

I had a busy weekend of baking and brunches. It was awesome! I have a few more posts in the making from the weekend that you will see in the coming week.

Along with sharing this delicious recipe with you all I wanted to share a few photos I took while accomplishing a bike ride from Oshawa to Toronto. It is a dream I always wanted to do and because I am looking for a job and the weather has been… spectacular I felt this was the time to do it!

I took these pictures when I first started to see signs for Toronto, it was a really long journey but I did it! It has inspired me to do more bike trips! Having a bike makes it convenient to travel in the city. If you have any experiences cycling I would love to hear them!

But back to baking for now,

Well there you have it! I am not the least bit Irish but when St. Patrick’s day comes along I think it requires a little attention… and it gives me an excuse to try out a new recipe! I hope everyone takes advantage of this awesome weather! Have a great day!

Much Love,

Anna xoxoxo
